Impact of HR managers’ competencies on organizational effectiveness: Mediating role of innovative HR practices

With increased business intricacies, human resource (HR) managers must possess relevant competencies to meet market demands. The study investigates the relationship among HR competencies, innovative practices, and organizational effectiveness. It also conducts an importance-performance analysis for identify skill gap. A structured questionnaire comprising 31 questions was used measure various components of 247 working in companies Tamil Nadu are selected based on a purposive sampling technique. Importance-performance carried out items dimensions competencies. Confirmatory factor analysis, correlation mediation using regressions further collected data. gap revealed that abilities use latest insights co-craft strategic agenda, align company’s activities with customer needs, connect people through technology be improved. regression results indicated positioner, credible architect, capacity builder, proponent needed improve practices partially mediated between meets literature area contribution toward effectiveness their adoption practices.
